This charming, romantic light ruby coloured wine is made from a blend of grapes – Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella – harvested from vineyards between Venice and shores of Lake Garda. The juice is gently extracted in a pneumatic press and slowly fermented on its skins in temperature controlled tanks to retain its delicate fruit character. The wine has an appealing crisp fragrance of cherries, black pepper and wood smoke with fresh flavoured hints of plum and dark fruits on the palate. Serve very lightly chilled (10°c) with grilled chicken or fish dishes.
